If you’re planning to have a controlled burn, please contact the Dallas County Dispatch Center and let them know. They will ask you questions about the burn, and in the event someone calls 911 to report a fire, they will already be aware of it. This saves time, resources and money because we won’t have to send out a full response, only to discover it’s a controlled burn.
